Plan-maker

Chrestos plan-maker is the most popular Chrestos module. It brings computer help to plan-making. It is an online, multiuser system that encourages collaboration.

Circuit amalgamations have brought larger circuits, and larger circuits have made plan-making more demanding. Chrestos helps, essentially, by managing availability. For any Sunday service, Chrestos only offers preachers who are available on that day, at that time, in that place, and for whom a further appointment wouldn't exceed a daily or quarterly maximum. Chrestos doesn't make the Plan automatically. It allows it still to be a manual, pastoral, task — but with computerised assistance. Circuits all over the Connexion are making the Plan with Chrestos.
