Most web companies sell you a website and then sell you its upkeep: a bundle of hours, a call-out rate, an invoice for a change of service time. We have never worked that way, and we are not about to start.
Every Chrestos package, from Essentials upwards, includes unmetered support, unmetered content updates and unlimited security updates for one monthly cost. There is no hourly rate, no ticket allowance and no bill at the end of the month for asking.

Churches ask us what the catch is, and there is not one. Support and content updates sit inside the monthly price because a website nobody dares to change is no use to anybody, and because we would far rather spend ten minutes making your change than an hour explaining our rates.
It works the same way for a single chapel on Essentials as it does for a circuit on Premium: one price, one team, and as much help as you need.

You will reach the people who designed your website and wrote the software behind it, in Chester, not a call centre and not a ticket queue. Ask us anything: a photograph that will not upload, a page you cannot find, a question about what the Cloud can do.
Training is included too, and it is not a single session on handover day. Come back in a year with a new volunteer and we will train them as well.

we make the change
This is the part churches tell us they cannot find anywhere else. A new service time, a christening, a change of steward, a fresh set of photographs from the summer fair, a whole new page for a new group. Most changes are done within a few working days, and none of them come with a bill.
Your website need never go stale because the person who looks after it is busy, or on holiday, or no longer sure how. If you would rather make the change yourself, Chrestos Classic and above give you the Web Design Tools to do it.

The software behind your site is patched, monitored and kept current by us, continuously, at no extra cost. Certificates are renewed, backups are taken daily and security updates are applied as soon as they are available.
You will rarely hear about any of it, which is rather the point.

Unmetered does not mean we never talk about it. A fair usage policy sits behind these promises, and it exists to stop one church absorbing the time that belongs to all of them. In practice, churches and circuits reach it about as often as they reach the end of the internet. If you ever came close, we would ring you and talk about it, not send you an invoice.
